1. Information We Collect
The App is designed to work with minimal data collection. Depending on the version installed, the App may collect:
- Device information — device model, OS version, and app version, used only for crash diagnostics and compatibility.
- Usage data — general, non-identifying interaction data (such as which features are opened) if analytics tools are active.
- Advertising identifiers — if the App displays ads, an anonymous ad ID may be used by our ad-serving partners.
We do not collect your name, phone number, email address, or contacts unless you voluntarily provide them (for example, by emailing us for support).
2. Permissions We Request
- Storage access — required to save downloaded video files to your device.
- Internet access — required to fetch content from the URL or source you provide.
- Network state — used only to check connectivity before starting a download.
Permissions are used solely to operate the core downloading function of the App and are never used to read, scan, or upload your personal files.
3. Third-Party SDKs & Services We Use
The App integrates the following third-party SDKs to serve ads, measure usage, and detect crashes. Each of these operates independently and may collect data such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, general (country/city-level) location, device model, and app interaction data, governed by that provider's own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — serves in-app advertisements and may use the advertising ID for ad personalization and measurement.
- Facebook Audience Network (Meta) — serves in-app advertisements through Meta's ad network.
- Google Analytics for Firebase — collects anonymous usage and interaction data to help us understand how the App is used.
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and device diagnostic data to help us identify and fix bugs.
We do not control how these third parties collect or process data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy for details on their respective practices.
4. Third-Party Content & Services
The App functions as a tool that fetches content from links or sources you supply. We do not host, review, monitor, or store the content you download on any server we control. Any third-party websites, platforms, or ad/analytics networks accessed through the App operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
5. Data Storage & Security
Downloaded videos are stored locally on your device's own storage, not on any server owned by us. While we take reasonable steps in how the App is built, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any data on your device.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on this page. We are not obligated to notify you individually — by email, in-app message, push notification, or any other means — when this Policy is updated. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the Developer. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not download, install, or use the App.
2. Nature of the Service
The App is a general-purpose utility tool that helps you download video/media files from links or sources that you, the user, provide or access. The Developer does not host, upload, distribute, or supply any video content. The App merely performs, at your direction, a fetch-and-save function.
3. Your Responsibility for Downloaded Content
You are solely and entirely responsible for:
- ensuring you have the legal right or permission to download and use any content;
- complying with all applicable copyright, intellectual property, and local laws;
- how downloaded content is stored, shared, or used after download.
The Developer does not review, screen, verify, or endorse any content accessed through the App, and bears no responsibility for the legality, accuracy, safety, or ownership of any content you choose to download.
4. "As Is" — No Warranty
The App is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
5. App Performance & Technical Limitations
The App is built and maintained by an individual, independent developer, not a large company with a dedicated support team. Like all software, it may from time to time:
- freeze, crash, lag, or stop responding;
- get stuck on the same screen — the App may appear open but stop responding to taps, fail to move to the next screen, or stay on a loading/processing screen without progressing, requiring you to force-close and reopen it;
- fail to start, complete, or save a download;
- show errors, incomplete files, or behave inconsistently across devices, Android versions, or network conditions;
- work correctly on one attempt and fail on another for reasons outside the Developer's control (server changes, network issues, device limitations, storage space, etc.).
These are normal, expected characteristics of software and do not constitute a breach of these Terms. The Developer will make reasonable efforts to fix reported issues over time but gives no guarantee, timeline, or assurance that any issue will be fixed, that the App will always function, or that every download will succeed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of downloaded content, device damage, loss of profits, or any other loss — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, the Developer's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount, if any, actually paid by you for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) content you download, store, or share; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) your breach of these Terms.
8. Third-Party Platforms Outside Our Control
The App's ability to fetch content may depend on third-party websites, platforms, or APIs. These may change, restrict access, or shut down at any time without notice, which may cause parts of the App to stop working correctly. This is outside the Developer's control, and the Developer is not liable for any disruption this causes.
9. Changes to These Terms & App Availability
The Developer may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice, and shall not be liable for any resulting loss or inconvenience.
The Developer may also revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. We are not obligated to notify you individually — by email, in-app message, or any other means — when these Terms are updated. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically; continued use of the App after any revision means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
